Code Upgrades

SERVPRO of The Saint Croix Valley is a licensed general contractor.  Depending on the size of the reconstruction project, some projects require a building permit.  When a building permit is required on a reconstruction project, SERVPRO of The Saint Croix Valley works with building inspectors to ensure that all current building code requirements are met. When insurance is involved, we are able to work with the insurance adjuster for coverage.  The stairway of the pictured public building required some code upgrades with the rise height of the stairs and handrails on each side following a fire.  Common code upgrades involve electrical, plumbing, HVAC, energy efficiency, framing, and material requirements.
